This isn't what South Park has taught me...In one of my favorite episodes ( http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/103797 ) they show what a real gamer looks like - the old antisocial fat guy who lives in his mother's basement and plays WOW all day.
Cool article, though - who knew that gamers were such a wealth of demographic information?

How long will it be before there are two kinds of business people: those who get it and those who are out of business? My guess? Not long.

Ah! Sorry for your pain, but this is a really interesting interaction to view from the outside. I agree that it all comes down to respect and fear of change. Using the case studies was a great idea and I would have thought that it would have helped to validate you. I'm curious whether there would have been a different approach with an older audience that could integrate their experience/expertise as a starting point to get their buy in for social media. It's such a challenge!

Thanks for this awesome video! You do a great job of introducing the application, its greatest features, tips and tricks. I finally got around to transitioning from Tweetdeck to Hootsuite and I love it. The scheduling of Tweets is a feature alone that makes this excellent and helps me to stay consistent with my Tweets. And stats! Woo hoo! I'm going to use the stats to track some A/B testing on hash tags.

Ha, that's rich. I've had the best luck with free newsletters. Well, that is if the potential customer feels that there might be something worth value inside! Great story.
